Phantom lineup · coming soon

Pick your spell. Every one debugs.

Every Phantom is a full wireless debugger: a USB dongle at your PC and a probe on the target, paired at the factory and joined by an encrypted link. The three levels differ in how much of the target they can see.

Add a ward, or let it cast on its own

The standard probe runs from the target's own power at the target's voltage, 1.7 to 3.6 V. Two hardware options change that.

Ward

a protective ward
  • Own battery, so the probe never loads the target supply
  • Level shifters for targets from 1.2 to 5.5 V
  • Safe on 1.8 V parts and 5 V boards alike
  • Example: Phantom Trace Ward

Flash

a charm that works without you
  • Stores a firmware image on the probe
  • Flashes boards with no PC: connect and press the button
  • Status LED for pass or fail

The name

Why Hex

A file you flash

Intel .hex is how firmware has travelled to chips for decades. Phantom carries it there without a wire.

A spell you cast

Plug in the dongle, press Debug, and the board on the far side of the bench answers. It feels a little like magic, so we named the full version after one.
